Bringing Faith, Creativity, and Storytelling to Children’s Ministry

Hi, I’m Alex, Founder and Writer for Light and Letter Co. If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s making children’s ministry both fun and deeply meaningful. With over five years of experience in full-time children’s ministry, a background in church camp ministry, and a degree in writing, I love using creativity and storytelling to bring God’s Word to life for kids.

I truly believe that children’s ministry is the best ministry (yes, I might be a little biased!). How special it is to help kids take their first steps in walking with Jesus—to spark their curiosity, encourage their questions, and help them develop a faith that lasts. We may not always see the fruit of what we plant, but we are seed planters, and that is a beautiful calling.

Kids are smarter and more thoughtful than we often give them credit for. That’s why I create resources that don’t just entertain but equip them to understand and engage with the Bible. Whether it’s through curriculum writing, small group guides, devotionals, creative scripts, or ministry coaching, my goal is to help ministries engage kids in faith-filled, meaningful ways while freeing you to focus on building relationships and leading your team.
